The Not so Great Face Tanner

I am a sucker for anything with Retinol and am convinced that it is a miracle sent from heaven.

BUT, I tried Tan Towel On the Glow Face Self Tanner with Retinol and was so so disappointed. $10 for 2oz which is a fantastic deal if the product was good.

The Cons:

• I used this for a week and literally saw no difference in tan factor. 
• No moisturizing at all and it is supposed to be a daily moisturizer.
• It smelled so self-tanish that I could barely use it. 
• The product hardened to the cap making it difficult to use. 
• The lotion was so runny, almost as if it should be a spray. 

Pros

• It's suppost to have retinol but saw no effects.
• The price is good.

Best Self Tanner Awards - Faux Face Tan

It's Springtime and that means time to pull those legs out of their pants and legging and put them in some skirts and dress. We could probably all use a little color of our pasty faces as well so I am starting off my self-tanner awards with the Best Tanner for your face. 

That being said, I have tried it all. I mean literally ever single self tanner out there.

BEST FOR FACE: Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads ($32 for 20) – This self tanner can make you think your a movie star and act 10 years younger. Yes, you will look that good. I have never managed to mess this one up and I am good at not following directions and regretting it later. Dr. Gross’ cult-favorite glycolic peel pads infused with self-tanner. Which means, not only does your skin look pristine the next day, but the color is a deep, neutral brown. And there’s enough solution on the pad for your neck. 

Amazing January Glossybox-Over $100 value

While it seems that everyone gets a little bit different in their boxes, mine was awesome this month. Good thing to because I had to wait until February for my January box! It is the one downfall to this beauty box, I am always getting my box the last day of the month or even the next month but most the time it is worth the wait! The contents!.....

Le Metier De Beaute Replenishing Daily Solution – 3 mL- This was amazing! The price is steep at $225 for a full size 1.7 oz but a great moisturizer is so worth it!

Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum – 5 mL – The brand is newer to me and I have found that I have been seeing it around alot more. The serum made my face breakout which may have been due to my sensitive skin but won't be trying a fullsize. 

Narciso Rodriguez for her Eau de Toilette Spray – 1 mL - Kinda liked this but not totally me. The smell was a bit much for the workplace.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara – .1 oz I love mascara and don't think there could ever be one I didn't want to try. This was up there with perfection.

Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance 12 Hour Lipstick – FULL SIZE! Fierce Red, perfect for the night out. Love Tarte!

Sebastian Professional Potion No. 9 – 1.7 oz - This is the one product I have not tried yet, I have heard great reviews so am excited to see how it works. It smells fantastic!

OPI Liquid Sand Nail Lacquer in Can’t Let Go – FULL SIZE! I have been very disappointed by OPI lately, I got about a dozen of their crackle glitter polishes because Sephora had them on sale and now I know why. I hated them, they looked so cool but when you actually used them, the "crackle" effect made your nails look as if a 3 year old did them and I don't even have a kid to blame it on :)

Overall this box was amazing but I have yet to be disappointed by Glossybox!

Sample Society February Beauty Box

This maintains as my favorite beauty box I get each month. I love sample society. This box was worth around $100.

Immunocologie VenoMax Deluxe Sample .5 oz worth $80! Amazing lightweight and feels amazing!

Oscar Blandi Hair Lift Mousse, Deluxe Sample Small sample but love, love, love this brand, anything Oscar Blandi is on my list of great products. 

Diptyque February Fragrance Sample- I am not a fan of this line of fragrance and I wish Beauty Boxes would stop including this.  

Exude Lipstick Creme-SS-Full size in Plum a $29 value. I am not usually a lipstick wearer but appreciate a nice color for special occasions. Plum is a pretty and subtle color for most skin tones. 

LaRocca Skincare Hibiscus Cream Cleanser with AHA- this is okay, pretty small size so can't really tell if it would be worth the purchase. I do love Hibiscus and cleanser so worth a few tries.
