Allure's BeautyBar Box - January

Beautybar is awesome and how could they not be, they are an Allure company. I love their beauty box's almost every month but was a bit disappointed in January's box. Here's the rundown;

StriVectin Instant Texture Scrub- I love this brand and the sample was a good size so I got a full weeks worth.

Nicole Richie- Pretty fragrance, a little strong for my taste.

Serget Normant- Dry shampoo is one of the best things that ever happened, however the scent of this particular one is not good. It smells rich and musky, like old school 80's perfume. I will not be using this as I can't get past the scent.

Snowberry is a new company to me. I was not blown away by this product but it was nice and light and fresh.

Lord and Berry eye liner- I am more of a liquid eyeliner girl but of course had to try this. The eye liner went on smooth and stay put which is the ley to a pencil liner in my book, the biggest reason that I don't use pencil's is they tend to smudge. I am the kind of person who wears make-up to the gym so stay power is key.

I heart Sephora

I am obviously a beauty box junky. I love getting surprises! I am obsessed with beauty and fashion and love new trends yet don't always have the time to research what's new and upcoming so I look to these for new make-up and beauty ideas.

That being said I sometime get tired of waiting for a beauty box to include some much needed face cleanser or self-tanner so I turn to my favorite Beauty site, Sephora.

Sephora always has great freebies as well as free shipping on orders over $50. They ship fast and are always accurate on orders and products (which is not always the case with make-up and beauty site).

100% Pure Argan Oil-THIS IS A MUST HAVE! If you have never used this, it is amazing. You can use  it as hair serum, cuticle cream, face moisturizer, etc, etc, etc....

Nailtini

Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer-This is a nice polish. I got Bloody Mary which is a very true red. It's beautiful, not too pink like some reds are. 

Sexy Hair

Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray- This is one of my all time favs, great hold and I love anything called "sexy".

SOHO

Brush-I am a big fan. Wasn't sure the quality would be that great but worked well. 

Birchbox December-A win and a lose

So Birchbox December-not my favorite but still in the running for one of my favorites as they seem to be the most consistant. I still received about $36 in product which is great for the $10 I spend on this. Order your birchbox here.

Self Tanner Review-Dr. Dennis Gross is Brilliant

I love self-tanner. I have been using them since them came of age and have had some serious ups and downs. I've had streaks, spots, fade and complete messes. I have also had some very beautiful, long-lasting glows that looked like I just walked off a beach after hours in the sun.
